Vilppulan Huvila

Vilppulan Huvila is a historical, over 100 years old, log villa that sleeps up to 25 guests. The property is located in a naturally beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting and the tranquil surrounds are perfect for resting after a busy period of work or stress. There is plenty of space for relaxing, for example, three spacious living rooms and six bedrooms. Light a fire to create a warm and calming atmosphere, create delicious meals for your party in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy leisurely dining in the attractive dining room. In the evening, relax in your own sauna and fall asleep in a comfortable bed in one of the cosy bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and three single beds, and a third bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Three further bedrooms have three single beds in each, and there is also a sofa bed in one of the upstairs living rooms and in two sleeping lofts that also have two further mattresses in each. In the washroom area you will find a bathroom with three showers and a beautiful sauna with an electric stove. Three WCs are also provided, two downstairs and one upstairs. 

The charming terrace is a perfect setting for enjoying a breakfast or just a cup of coffee while gazing at the lake shimmering in the sun. Have a fun barbecue and prepare tasty barbecue treats for your party on a wood-heated grill, swim in the cooling waters of the lake, row in silence along the shore and enjoy the lake views while sitting on the pier. There is also a lovely hot tub that is available for an additional charge (150€ / time) and a traditional wood-heated outdoor sauna where you can while away an evening enjoying the warmth and the relaxing sound of logs gently crackling in the stove. Take pleasure in a woodland walk in the nearby forest or visit Helvetinjärvi national park for a longer hike. Mänttä-Vilppula art village stages different art and music events all through the summer season.
