A luxury waterfront villa, in a superb island location by the famous Lake Saimaa, the largest lake in Finland. This modern, elegant holiday home can accommodate up to 9 guests, making it ideal for a peaceful break with your family or loved ones. The stylish living room has a modern fireplace, an inviting sofa, Smart TV and large windows offering stunning views of the lake. You’re sure to enjoy preparing and eating your meals in the attractive, well-equipped kitchen and dining space. There are three spacious double bedrooms, a shower room, WC and a beautiful sauna with convenient electric stove. The upper floor has an open plan sleeping space with three separate beds. Bottled drinking water will be provided for guests free of charge. You may also drink the tap water, but it is recommended that you filter the water at first using the BRITA water filter provided. Baby bed and high chair by prior request.

Outside, there is a terrace with table and chairs, where you can sit with a morning coffee enjoying the view. The barbecue hut is a great place to prepare meals on an open fire, whatever the time of year. The grounds also include a private jetty, which is a great spot to sit and relax, or use it as easy access to the water for swimming or fishing. There is also a rowing boat for exploring the lake. The surrounding forest is a wonderful place to pick mushrooms or berries, depending on the season. Mietinsaari island can be reached by a car ferry that operates daily from early morning till late evening. There is a road from the dock all the way up to the cottage. Freeski ski centre 15km, Ruokolahti (nearest supermarket) 20km, Imatra 40km, Lappeenranta 74km and Helsinki Airport 293km.
