A light and spacious country cabin with round log walls and charming timber interior. This beautiful property is located on a peaceful lakeshore near Kuusamo and has room for up to 8 guests. The wonderful floor-to-ceiling windows offer spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding nature. Especially the sunsets in this Villa is the must-experience all year around.
Downstairs there is a large living room with comfortable sofas, fireplace and a dining area for 8 people. The separate, well-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and, in addition to an electric stove, there is also a traditional fireplace oven. Downstairs you will also find a utility room with a washing machine and drying cabinet, as well as a separate WC, changing area and a modern washroom area with two showers and a sauna with electric stove. The sauna, washroom area and kitchen has been completely renewed in the years 2024 – 2025.
There are two attractive bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom has both a double and a single bed. The other bedroom has a double bed and, if necessary, also a child’s bed. There is a sofa bed and a single bed in additional room in the downstairs. There is access to small balcony from both bedrooms, the best place to experience sunrise in the mornings.
Guests have access to a spacious terrace. This terrace is the best place to see the sunsets and view the lakeside. The garden includes a traditional grill and campfire place. By the lakeshore there is a separate, traditional sauna building, which can be reserved for an additional fee. In summer, make use of the rowing boat or relax on the long sandy beach. In winter, a private snowmobile trail starts close to the cottage, which eventually connects to the public track. There is really good fishing possibilities around the lakes near Villa. Electric car charging possible. The property has an air heat pump.

Kiitos upeasta lomaviikosta jälleen kerran. Ollaan saunottu, tehtiin avantokin mihin kerran pulahdin. Hyvää ruokaa ja seurapelejä kera perheen.

Tultiin viettämään hiihtolomaa Kuusamoon. Aika kului hiihdellen, saunoen ja tietty syöden hyvin. Pieni Karhunkierros kävelty. Aivan mahtavat maisemat, kuten myös Valtavaaran huipulla. Sääkin suosi 15C-23C. Kiva mökki ja tunnelmallinen rantasauna.

Vietimme juhannusta mahtavissa maisemissa. Ilmat suosivat meitä. Saunoimme, uimme ja kalastimme ahkerasti. Rantasaunassa tuli niin lempeät löylyt. Iso kiitos mökin vuokraajille erittäin makoisista muikuista mitä teiltä saimme.

Saavuimme askettäin tänne ja Villa Santala vaikuttaa jo nyt ihanalta paikalta. Ihanat maisemat ja rantakin on upean näköinen. Myös ihana keittiö ja saunakin ihan massiivisen iso ja tilava.
