Vesamaa

Vesamaa is a country residence of great character for 8 guests located in a serene countryside setting in Ähtäri. The house is 100 years old and has been beautifully restored respecting its long history. The heart of this prestigious house is its open plan living area that includes a well equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 guests and a living space with a beautiful fireplace and rocking chair. The kitchen equipment includes a dishwasher, oven and hobs, microwave oven, fridge and a freezer. There is a 160 cm wide double bed in the master bedroom and a 140 cm wide sofa bed and a single 80 cm wide upper bunk in the second bedroom. The open living area has a 160 cm wide sofa bed for two guests and there are a further two places on mattresses that can be placed on the floor. There is also a WC and a shower. A cot is available for babies. Air source heat pump.

There is a handy gas grill in the garden for barbecues and a lovely wood heated sauna for relaxing in the evenings. The house has its own private beach for sun bathing and swimming. A rowing boat is also provided. The surrounds and the beach offer guests many activities such as garden games, fishing, berry and mushroom picking, swimming or just resting and relaxing. There are clear jogging routes in the area and in nearby Ähtäri you will find disc golf, a sports field and a parkour park. Winter activities in the area include cross-country skiing, ice skating and ice fishing.
