A cosy seaside cabin for up to 5 guests, located on the island of Korppoo, part of the stunning Turku Archipelago. An idyllic holiday spot for a couple or small family looking to experience the laid back feel of the Finnish islands. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful setting, while taking in the sea views from the window or as you drink your morning coffee on the terrace. This charming cabin has a living area with fireplace, a kitchen, a sleeping alcove for two people, a sauna with electric stove, a shower (in the sauna) and an outdoor WC. The living area has a sofa bed for two people, plus there is a foldable bed for one.
Outside is a sea-facing terrace and timber decking with outdoor furniture, plus a gas barbecue and a wood grill. Swim in the sea or lounge on the pier with a good book, enjoying the sea air and the sound of the waves. There is a rowing boat if you want to go fishing or exploring the bay area.
Summer events at Korpo /Korppoo island include e.g. the popular annual “Sibelius in Korpo/Korppoo” chamber music days (mid July), and the “Korpo Sea Jazz Festival” at the end of July.
Korpoström archipelago centre, offering exhibitons, cultural activities, an archipelago restaurant, and a grocery shop is 8 minutes away by car.
DISTANCES: Sea shore 15 m. Food shop and restaurant, exhibitions and cultural programs (in Korpoström Archipelago Center) 4.5 km. Island church in the Church Village with market place, supermarket, cafeterias, restaurants and shops 10 km. Turku 90 km, Turku Airport 94 km, Helsinki 240 km. You reach the cottage by car from the Finland mainland via the Parainen-Nauvo and Nauvo-Korppoo car ferries.

We had a wonderful time in this small paradise hidden in the Finnish forest. Morning baths in the cold sea water, lazy breakfasts with a splendid view, the best private “television” of wild nature: eagles, swans, herons… Plenty of sun, boat trips, walks in the forest, far from the crowd and noise of everyday life. It was more than we could imagine. Thank you Krister for your huge generosity, helpful advices, on every topic and friendly attitude. We will think about you very warmly from Poland and Slovenia. Vietimme täällä herran kukkarossa 4 päivää juhlistaen 28. hääpäiväämme ja 37. kihlauspaivää. Aivan ihana paikka, jossa maisemaa voi ihastella loputtomiin. Säät suosivat, lämpöä ja aurinkoa riittävästi. Sauna, uinti, grillaus ja virvelöinti kuuluivat ohjelmaan. Kalansaalis oli takuuvarma, kiitos paikallisen marketin annin. Suuret kiitokset isännille!

Vietin ihanat ja rentouttavat 2 viikkoa Kristerin ihanassa mökissä. Täällä tosiaan aika kuluu vain maisemaa tuijotellessa. Koin Korppoon Jazzit. Turussa Putinin näyttelyn. Olin yllättynyt kuinka hyvin täällä pystyi pyöräilemään polkuja ja hiekkateitä pitkin.

We leave this place very relaxed. This is really a place to forget all about how it goes on in 2022. We had a good time in this very fine place – enjoyed every sunset, swimming, boat, hiking or just sitting on the veranda until the dark night… We are back after 2003 and will be back again for sure!

Maisemat oli upeat! Kaikki lähes täydellistä, ainoa miinus oli hyttyset! 🙁 Ihanan lämmin vesi ja kivan kostea sauna. Oli hauskaa, kun pystyi lisätä metsän ja tervan tuoksuisia litkuja kiuluveteen. Tulipa jopa joutsen laiturille pienen vaavin kanssa. Ehkä jopa haikara / merikotka bongattiin! Venettä ei ehditty käyttää 🙁 PS. Ei näkynyt käärmeitä! 🙂
