Ivalo airport is located about 30 minutes by car from the village of Saariselkä. From the airport, you can easily get to Saariselka by airport bus, rental car, or taxi. Eskelinen Lapin Linjat provides bus transport between the airport and Saariselkä.
You can also fly to Rovaniemi and continue your journey by bus or rental car.
You can take the train to Rovaniemi, from where there are daily bus services to Saariselkä.
The Saariselkä ski bus operates daily in the winter season in the Saariselkä area. The ski bus leaves from Ivalo bus station in the morning and returns to Ivalo at the end of the day.
