Pinea

Pinea is a cosy holiday cabin for up to 6 guests located in the idyllic countryside of Forssa, Southern Finland. The accommodation is set on two levels and has extensive grounds by a small swimming lake. The cabin has a comfortable living room with a fireplace, nice sofa, two arm chairs, Smart TV and a beautiful dining table that seats 4 guests. Next to the living room is a well equipped kitchen, with fridge-freezer, electric oven and hobs, microwave oven and a coffee maker. The downstairs also includes a small bedroom with bunk beds for two people. Wide wooden stairs lead from the living room upstairs to an open plan space, where there is a double bed and two single beds. A balcony with a small table and chairs is also provided. Traditional wood heated sauna, shower room and a WC are located adjacent to the living quarters and can be accessed via the porch. A baby bed and high chair are available by prior request.  

There is a lovely terrace outside with a dining set for 6 guests. The cabin grounds include a traditional wood grill, garden swings and a pretty barbecue hut / summer house that has a gas grill. There is a private pier by the lake shore and guests are invited to swim in the clean water on warm summer days. The water in the lake comes from a spring, so it is cleaner than in most lakes. The water is already deep at the end of the pier, but the water at the lake shore is shallow enough for children of approximately 5 years and older. If a portable hot tub is brought to the cabin, the owner charges 40 euros for water and logs. A wood store and a small rowing boat are in shared use with the neighbouring cabin (Polaria). Both cabins, however, have their own grounds, own pier and own privacy. In winter, ice-swimming is possible by prior request. There are many nature trails, cycling paths and good areas for berry and mushroom picking nearby. Bicycles can be borrowed from the cabin owner free of charge. Nearby Koijärvi nature reserve has a bird tower and offers opportunities for walking and frying sausages on a camp fire. Several interesting day trip destinations are also nearby, e.g. medieval Häme castle in Hämeenlinna, Torronsuo and Liesjärvi national parks, Lempäälä Ideapark and Särkänniemi amusement park in Tampere.

PRICES: From 71€ / night. Hire of bed linen and towels 10€ / person. Final cleaning 80€. During summer 15.6-30.7, the cabin is available for weekly rentals Friday-Friday only.
