A modern holiday home for up to 7 people, on Åland island in the beautiful Åland archipelago. Situated just a short drive from Mariehamn, this gorgeous light and airy property is the perfect location for your trip to this enigmatic region. The open plan kitchen, dining and living area has a fireplace, comfy sofa, TV and large windows looking out over the garden. There is a twin bedroom and a family bedroom (bunk beds with a single upper bunk and a double below), WC, shower room, sauna with wood-heated stove and utility room. Two additional guests can be accommodated in the loft, which has a sofa bed for one and an additional single bed.

Outside is a spacious terrace where guests can enjoy eating outdoors and cooking on a charcoal barbecue. There is a large lawned garden, plus a grill hut where you can all sit and cook whatever the time of year. At the end of the garden is a small jetty for relaxing by the secluded waterfront. There is also a rowing boat for exploring the small bay or trying your luck with a spot of fishing (free fishing rights within a designated area). Åland island can be reached by car ferry from Turku or Helsinki, or you can fly to Mariehamn Airport. S-Market Jomala 10km, Mariehamn (shops, restaurants and parks) 12km, The Pommern museum ship and the charming Maritime Quarter 12km, Kastelholm Castle 26km and Bomarsund fortress 36km.
