Lapland Heritage Villa is a beautiful and spacious log villa, that offers luxurious accommodation for up to 8+6 guests by Lake Simojärvi in Ranua. This historical villa, which is over 100 years old, has been lovingly refurbished and turned into a luxury holiday home that perfectly combines the charm of an older property with modern amenities. The villa has two floors and there is plenty of space for larger groups to spend time together, as well as to find their own space for relaxing or reading a book. The central heart of the villa is the open plan living and dining area downstairs, where guests can prepare meals in a modern and well equipped kitchen and to eat together around a beautiful dining table that seats 8 guests. The space also includes two sofas, a rocking chair, Smart TV and a charming traditional log fire. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. For that extra special touch, both bedrooms have their own working fireplace. Downstairs, you will also find a delightful bathroom with a WC and shower enclosure, as well as a utility space with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

A spacious and sumptuously decorated living room is located upstairs and offers guests an ideal space for socialising and having fun together in the evenings. There is a comfortable sofa, several arm chairs, a coffee table and a handy kitchenette with a fridge, electric hobs and a coffee maker. A second sitting room is also provided and has a sofa and a few bean bags for relaxing and watching TV. There are also two further bedrooms upstairs, both with a double bed and a sofa bed for two, making these bedrooms ideal for families with children. One of the bedrooms upstairs also has its own working fireplace and there is a second WC on the upstairs landing. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Outdoors there is plenty of space for guests with a large garden, private lake shore and pier. The lake shore is a lovely setting for a wood-heated lakeside sauna, that also includes a modern bathroom with two showers. The adjacent sitting room has a log fire and sofa bed for two guests. Cool down after a relaxing sauna on the terrace, or take a refreshing dip in the lake. In winter, the owners cut a hole in the lake ice so guests can experience ice swimming. The terrace also has an amazing hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the arctic lake.
