By air: Kuusamo airport is located conveniently just a 20 minute drive from Ruka. From the airport, make your way to the resort either by taking a taxi, hiring a car or by riding on the airport bus.
Direct flights are operated to Kuusamo at least from Helsinki with Finnair, Frankfurt with Lufthansa, Dusseldorf with Eurowings and Zurich with Edelweiss.
