Korpiranta

Korpiranta is a beautiful lakeside log cabin for 4+2 guests, by Lake Saimaa in Savonlinna, Lakeland. The cabin has a wonderful setting in Linnansaari National Park amongst good fishing opportunities, clean nature and blissful silence. Lovely lake views can be enjoyed from the cottage and with luck you may even spot an endangered Saimaa ringed seal. 

The cottage is all on one level and there is a cosy kitchen, traditional dining area for up to 6 people and a charming living room with two sofas, TV and a fireplace for blazing log fires. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, while the other has two single beds. 

Sofa bed in the living room provides extra beds for two people, if required. A utility room, WC, bathroom with shower and a private electric sauna are also provided. 

A baby bed is available by prior request. Wifi available for a small charge.   

Outside, there is an outdoor table set, as well as a handy gas BBQ on a lovely terrace, where pretty lake views can be enjoyed. Wooden steps lead down to a charming lakeside sauna and your private lake shore with a pier and a rowing boat. 

Motorboat and fishing licences are available for an additional charge. Canoe hire can be arranged locally. 

Explore Savonlinna and its medieval Olavinlinna Castle, enjoy the amazing scenery in Punkaharju Conservation Area, admire the world’s biggest wooden church in Kerimäki and visit Lusto – The Finnish Forest Museum.
