Kilpikonna

Kilpikonna is a comfortable holiday cottage for up to 6 guests located in a secluded lakeside setting in Mikkeli, Central Lakeland. The cottage offers excellent amenities and is beautifully decorated.

Accommodation available is set on two levels and the downstairs has a modern kitchen, dining table for 6 people and a living room with log burner, comfy sofa and a TV. There are two double bedrooms, both of which have their own TV and Blu-ray player. A bathroom with two showers, sauna with handy electrical stove, WC and changing room / utility are also provided. 

Upstairs has a spacious living room with a large corner sofa and a home theatre system with Blu-ray player for socialising and watching films or TV series together in the evenings. Two single beds are also provided. 

Baby bed and highchair are available for an additional charge. Air source heat pump for cooling during hot weather.

Outside, there is a terrace with outdoor furniture and a handy gas grill in summertime for cooking all your barbecue favourites. A traditional barbecue hut is also provided for spending time together in any season and enjoying food cooked on an open fire (extra charge). The lake shore has a nice beach for young children to play in and there is a private pier and a rowing boat for fishing and boat trips also. A hot tub is available by prior request for an additional charge. In winter, hire snowshoes from the owners, or try a traditional kick sledge.
