Kastehelmi

Kastehelmi is a delightful lakeside cabin for 6+2 guests located in a tranquil countryside setting by Kuvansi Lake in Suonenjoki. 

The charming property comprises a comfortable main cottage (67m2), lovely lakeside sauna and adjacent spacious living room (42m2) and an annex room suitable for year round living with two extra beds (14m2).  

The main cottage is set all on one level and has a pretty open plan living area with a comfy sofa, TV, fireplace for glowing log fires and a pretty sleeping area with a double bed. Large windows towards the lake create a peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday. 

A well-equipped kitchen has oven and hobs, microwave, fridge-freezer and a dining set for 4-6 people, while a cosy small bedroom has a sofa bed for two. The cottage also has a modern WC / shower room. Baby bed and high chair by prior request. Drinking water will be provided for guests in large spring water canisters free of charge.

Outside, make use of the beautiful covered terrace area, that includes outdoor furniture, a garden swing, large coal BBQ and a cute Wendy house. Rane oven is also provided close to the terrace for cooking fish and oven dishes outdoors during summer. 

Extensive gardens are ideal for children to play in and there is a  flower house, darts board and a summer house to enjoy on warm summer days. A rowing boat and a wood grill are also provided by the lake shore. 

The lakeside sauna has a traditional wood-heated stove and there is a spacious living room also with a dining set and a sofa bed for two. The terrace at the lakeside sauna is perfect for enjoying a few cold drinks after hot sauna while admiring the beautiful lake views. The lake shore is shallow with sandy bottom, so even young children can enjoy it safely.  

The annex room offers additional living space with a sofa, chest of drawers and two single beds.
