Hevonkuusi

We have enjoyed the stay at Hevonkuusi in the Finnish Lakeland. The nature surrounding was perfect, we have really liked the lake and silence around the cottage. Our kids definitely loved darts!

We just spent 3 days at Hevonkuusi but it was a very nice experience. The cottage is beautiful and the location too. We also had a very good and fast assistance during our stay. Hope to repeat the experience in the future.

We spent two weeks in Hevonkuusi. There everything was great! The weather changed, but it was good anyway.

Bad: Place showed wear and tear, kitchen appliances were very old. Light switch for wc/shower room was on the hinges side, which was confusing. Mattresses and pillows were light for sleeping. Beach was stony. It was shallow and stony at the end of the pier, so difficult to go swimming. Dishes were somewhat insufficient – we bought some glasses and knives also for future guests. Curtains in the bedroom did not darken the room during bright nights. Black out curtains would be appreciated by other guests as well. Cabin was surprisingly cold on our arrival. There was no air con, so we turned radiators on. One radiator did not seem to work and the heating power could not be adjusted. Shower arrangement was functional in the end, but very odd. We had to dry the whole wc area after showering. Recycling could have been easier and more guidance offered. Good: Kitchen cupboards had room for our own foods. There were enough plates and cutlery, which is rare. Thank you for that.
