Kuusamo airport is only a 20 minute drive from Ruka. From the airport, you can easily get to Ruka by airport bus.
The nearest train stations are located in Oulu, Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi. There is a bus connection from the railway stations to either Ruka or Kuusamo.
Ruka ski buses run between the resort’s largest accommodation areas and the slopes during the winter season when the slopes are open.
