Maja Aurora is a well-equipped and cosy lakeside cabin for up to 6 guests in the far north of Finland, near the borders of Sweden and Norway. Surrounded by majestic arctic scenery, including the famous Saanatunturi Fell, and located just 50 km from the shore of the Arctic Ocean, your stay at this cabin will be an unforgettable experience.
Accommodation provided is set on two levels and there is a well equipped kitchen, beautiful dining area and a lovely living room with a comfy sofa group and a fireplace downstairs. A cosy TV room with SMART-TV (must use Chromecast), WC, bathroom with a shower cabinet and sauna with electric stove are also provided.
Upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms, a second WC and a balcony. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, while the third bedroom has two single beds.
Outside, there is a small table, chairs and a handy gas grill on the front terrace, while a larger terrace on the side has a bigger picnic table for al fresco dining. Enjoy the great outdoors and the fresh arctic climate, hike to the top of Saanatunturi fell and gaze at the blazing Northern Lights dancing in the dark winter sky. Cross-country ski tracks are also available and you can access them directly from the cabin.

PRICES: From 195€ / night for 2 persons. Bed linen and towels 26€ each person. Extra person over 12 yo 5 euro / day. Final cleaning 138€.
Rental period at least 4 days. Rental can`t start or stop on a Saturday, unless agreed in advance with owner.

We have very good holidays in Maja Aurora chalet. Very nice, cosy. The interior decoration, furnishing, location near the lake as expected. Nice place, good place for Northern Lights and to walk with snowshoes.

We had a wonderful winter week at Maja Aurora! The cottage is warm and cozy and was perfect for our family of five. The location right on the lake was perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, and we were fortunate enough to get several great shows during our stay. The cottage is a short walk from the village.

It was a very relaxing and pleasant vacation. Maja Aurora is very comfortable and offers a lot of space. There was also plenty of firewood and we appreciated the fire in the beautiful fireplace.

Luxury cabin everything needed was found. Cleaning standard was good. Within easy reach of the village. We could ice-fish and cross-country ski straight from the cabin. Loved it.

Luxury cabin is a peaceful setting. The growth of tourism in Kilpisjärvi did not bother us here. The cabin was very spacious and airy. Washing machine and drying cabinet were well appreciated. And the gas barbecue on the large terrace! We had a memorable holiday once again!

The cabin exceeded all our expectations, the standard of amenities was excellent. We have never had this good cabin before when holidaying in Lapland. Location is good, close to services and the views from the cabin are great. We can definitely recommend this cabin for our friends and family.

We were very happy with the cabin. Except that the coffee maker was missing a lead, we had to buy a coffee maker and the kettle had mildew at the bottom. Four stars.
