A modern and cosy holiday home for up to 8 people, opposite the northern slopes of Himos ski resort. An ideal location for a family or group of friends whatever the time of year. Go hiking or mountain biking in the surrounding forest, or swim and fish in the nearby lake. In winter, cross-country ski tracks can be accessed just 50 metres away. Enjoy the warmth of the log fire as you cook, eat and relax in the well-equipped open-plan kitchen and comfortable living area. There is a double bedroom, a twin room, plus a loft with twin beds, a second TV and a 120cm wide sofa bed for two. The cabin also has a relaxing sauna with electric stove, a WC and a shower.
Outside is a large terrace with outdoor furniture and a fabulous Jacuzzi for memorable evenings under the stars. The guests can use the large charcoal grill, as well as a lovely barbecue area with an open fire for outdoor cooking. During summer in Himos you can enjoy golf, quad biking, kayaking, fishing and hiking. In winter the popular activities include cross-country and downhill skiing, snowmobiling and husky safaris. The cabin is also a perfect base to explore the sights and culture of Central Finland and the nearby city of Jyväskylä. Ski slopes 3km, Center Market Himos 5km, Himos Golf 6km, Jämsä (supermarkets and Alko off-licence) 13 km, Jyväskylä 52km and Helsinki 235km.Toilet paper
