The cottage was everything we hoped it would be. I think the description on the website slightly undersells it! The cottage is very well equipped and plenty of space both inside and out. The location is stunning and the lake is fine for a cooling dip. It was useful that there were two landing stages as ours had been taken by a nesting seagull! The birdlife in the woods is amazing and a pied wagtail nesting in the wall of the house kept us amused. It was a shame that we could not communicate better with our host but please pass on our thanks for a wonderful week. Given that there is a sauna and an outside lake it would have been helpful to have more than one large towel each. This would have been a problem if it had been wet. Thanks to Finland Cottage rentals as you were very efficient and answered our questions as requested. If we book another cottage in Finland we will certainly come back to you.

We enjoyed our stay at Rantamökki. A very special experience. The lake was frozen and we went ice fishing with good results. Fish for entree!!! We walked in the snow and around the lake. The scenery is beautiful. Our hosts Jaacko and Maaret were very kind. They brought us sweet strawberries.

I would just like to give you a short feedback about our wonderful stay in Finland. We just came back yesterday and already want to go back to Villa Anna. The cottage was amazing, that is basically the only thing I can say. We had such a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing and amazing time, it was definitely not the last time we went there. Annu, the owner was very friendly, helpful and explained a lot about Finland and the traditions like sauna, ice fishing and the nature. The cottages there are high class, perfectly maintained and decorated with such a attention to detail that you can just love it. I can also only recommend contacting you, the way of communication and support was easy, reliable, exactly what I was looking for. The information after the booking about the National Park, the cottage, the driving directions was very help and useful, everything in one email, short and precise, exactly what we needed. Well done. Everything was perfect. I hope to be back soon, I will contact you for sure.

We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Lapland. Finland Cottage Rentals have been very attentive with answering our many emails and even arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport with our cabin keys so we did’nt have to stop by the office first. Cannot fault our experience at all with this company. The cottage was very spacious, warm, clean and comfortable. The living room enjoyed a very tranquil view of snow and trees. And sometimes a red squirrel! The cottage is located about 2 kms from Saariselka which was quite nice as it was very quiet. We found several different paths for walking into Saariselka, one of which passes a husky farm which was really nice. We also used the ski bus several times to get to and from Saariselka village but be warned, the bus only stops at the cabin bus stop twice a day. We have been husky sledding, have enjoyed an evening reindeer ride looking for the northern lights and have also been snowmobilling in the evening. We have been blessed with seeing the northern lights 3 times during our stay (1 week). We have 2 children aged 10 and 7 years and they had the time of their lives on the toboggan run (almost 2 km). We would definately recommend booking with Finland Cottage Rentals, would definately recommend Tunturituuli B to family and friends and we will definately be back again!

What a great time we had at Raita last summer. My kids and I have commented many times over the last few months that it was one of our favorite spots of all time. Such a beautiful cabin and a lovely location. We enjoyed the canoeing and my son would go out in the middle of the night (since it wasn’t dark) and row the boat for hours. We loved the sauna and spend every day roasting in the sauna and then running and jumping into the lake. The owners were really nice and knowledgeable- even emailing me the instructions for the washing machine in English when I couldn’t figure it out. The most wonderful thing was the complete silence. You are very lucky to live in such a beautiful country. We are already planning to come back in 2018.

Levinhuippu was superb, exceeding all our expectations! The cottage location and surroundings were first class, we even sited a couple of reindeer at the end of our street on one particular morning which captivated the imagination of our two young girls! The amenities provided were second to none with the kitchen particularly outstanding, the under bench fridges were a winner and the oven ensured we were able to cook a wonderful Christmas lunch! The amount of living space in the cottage afforded us the luxury of really settling in, giving us the flexibility of spending all day inside without our children going stir crazy, if we so desired. A log fire every night along with an array of provided tea light candle holders added to the cozy atmosphere. A supermarket within an easy walk (even on days -20C) and a ski bus close by made travel to the centre of Levi and a broader selection of shops a hassle free experience. The service and professionalism provided by Finland Cottage Rentals was outstanding and we have already recommended you to family and friends and would have no hesitation booking again with you in the future.

Our experience at the cottage has been wonderful, we have enjoyed a lot there and those days have been really great. We had some problems to find out our cottage because we got to the cottage late at night and it was a bit difficult to find Lakeside Fox cabin. The cottage is very confortable and clean and the surroundings are awesome. After a long day driving from Helsinki to Kesalahti we had a very good rest in the cottage. The following day just after breakfast we enjoyed walking through the lake and the surroundings and playing with the sleigh. The sauna is also very recommended. I just want to comment that there were no matches or anything to fire the fireplace, so the first night we couldn’t use it. It has been a very good experience, hopping to repeat another day!
