Farmarin Tupa is a delightful farmhouse for 7+2 guests in Portimo village in Ranua. Location of the farmhouse amongst wide open fields and by Portimojärvi Lake offers the best of rural holidays in the Finnish countryside. The accommodation provided is conveniently all on one level and there is plenty of room even for larger parties. The farmhouse has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area for 8 guests, comfortable living room with a large corner sofa, TV and a fireplace, and there are four bedrooms in total. One bedroom has a double bed and a baby travel cot, two bedrooms have twin beds and one bedroom has a single bed. Two extra beds are available on a sofa bed next to the dining area. The farmhouse also has a utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, bathroom with two showers, traditional wood-heated sauna and two WCs.
There is a lovely outdoor hot tub for 6 people on the terrace and a trampoline for children on the extensive grounds. There is also a private beach, where guests can enjoy a barbecue or explore the lake on a rowing boat. In winter, guests can have fun sledging or, if you have your own snowmobile, riding along the trails nearby. You may also be lucky enough to see the northern lights dancing across the sky, or perhaps visit a reindeer farm nearby, where you can feed the reindeer or enjoy a woodland walk with the resident reindeer. A local bus will take you straight to Ranua Arctic Wildlife Park, Ranua centre or a day trip to Rovaniemi (bus stop 500 m).
DISTANCES: Portimojärvi Lake 50 m, Ranua Resort Arctic Wildlife Park 21 km, Ranua (S-Market) 24 km, Rovaniemi 58 km and Rovaniemi Airport 66 km (car hire).
PRICES: Prices from 100€ / night for 2 people sharing. Additional guests are charged +25€ / person / night. Under 2 year olds stay for free. Prices include bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Outdoor hot tub included in price durin the winter season (1.11.2024- 31.3.2025)! At other time hot tub available by prior order for 70€ / day or 150€ / weekend.

Wij kunnen deze plek absoluut aanraden voor families die van de natuur houden en de ruimte zoeken. Er is veel te doen voor kinderen zoals spellen, vissen, kanoën, trampoline etc. wij hebben enorm genoten. Dankjewel.
